How it works
Show us how the branches run today
Which locations you have, how calls reach each one, what each branch spends on marketing and what it books. A rough spreadsheet is enough to start.
Get a branch-by-branch plan in writing
We set out the shared standard, what each location needs, how calls and leads will be counted, and the cost. Anything we cannot price from our published plans is quoted in writing.

Services
-
Marketing standards across branches
One brand, one playbook and one set of rules that every branch follows, so the fifth location markets as well as the first.
-
Location pages and branch Google Business Profiles
A properly built page and a compliant Google Business Profile for each branch, so each one can win its own local searches.
-
Call routing and reporting by location
Every call lands at the right branch and every lead is counted against the branch that earned it.
-
Branch P&L marketing budgets
Marketing spend set, split and judged branch by branch, against each branch's own gross profit.
-
Opening or acquiring a branch
A marketing plan for a new territory, or for folding an acquired heating company into your brand without losing its calls.
A heating company with one shop can run its marketing from the owner's head. Add a second branch and that stops working: calls arrive at the wrong office, the new location borrows the old one's reviews and budget, and nobody can say which branch actually paid for itself last winter. HeatingConsultants.ca exists for that point in a company's life. We help owners run marketing across several locations as one system, with clear rules, a proper local presence for every branch and reports that split cleanly by location.
The problem that starts with branch number two
The second location doubles the marketing workload, but it more than doubles the ways marketing can quietly go wrong. Most owners notice the symptoms long before they name the cause.
Here is what we see most often in multi-branch heating companies:
- One phone number for everything. Every ad and every listing rings head office, which then transfers calls. Some get dropped, and none are credited to the branch that earned them.
- Duplicate or orphaned Google Business Profiles. A manager created one for the new branch, a former agency made another, and the original still shows the old hours.
- A website that only describes the first city. The newer branch has a single thin page, so it never ranks.
- Budgets set at company level. Ad spend is one line in the head-office ledger, so a branch that loses money on marketing looks fine.
- Different branches, different brands. Each manager orders their own truck wraps, flyers and ad copy.
None of these needs a bigger budget to fix. They need a standard, and someone who holds every branch to it. That is the work, and the services overview explains each piece.
Five pieces of multi-location marketing
We break the work into five services. Most companies need all five eventually, but rarely in the same month.
- Marketing standards across branches: the brand rules, offer rules and approval steps every location follows.
- Location pages and branch profiles: one strong page and one compliant Google Business Profile per real branch.
- Call routing and reporting by location: tracked numbers and routing rules, so each call reaches the right team and is counted once.
- Branch P&L marketing budgets: spend set and judged against each branch's own gross profit.
- Opening or acquiring a branch: a launch plan for a new territory, or a careful handover when you buy a competitor.
A worked example: why company-level numbers hide a losing branch
Branch-level reporting usually changes at least one decision in the first quarter. Here is a simple case you can check with a calculator.
Say a heating company has two branches and spends $12,000 a month on marketing, split evenly. Branch A books 60 jobs a month at an average gross profit of $900, so it earns $54,000 of gross profit on $6,000 of marketing, a ratio of 9 to 1. Branch B books 14 jobs at the same $900, so $12,600 on $6,000, a ratio of about 2 to 1.
At company level the picture looks healthy: 74 jobs, $66,600 of gross profit, $12,000 spent. Split by branch, Branch B is clearly underperforming. The cause might be the market, but in our experience it is more often something fixable: a missing Google profile, calls routed to Branch A's dispatcher, or a website with nothing about Branch B's city. You cannot find the cause until the numbers are split. The branch budget guide works through this in detail.
Proof from our HVAC work
Our published results come from Canadian heating and HVAC companies, and several are directly about running more than one brand or territory. GasBoilers.ca, a separate gas-boiler division we built for CANRO Heat, now reaches 26+ BC communities and carries 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews. CanroHeat.ca recorded 250% lead growth. BoilerPart.ca runs 2,000+ programmatic pages and grew organic traffic 180%, which shows what a disciplined page system can do across many places.
These figures are specific to those clients, and your branches will have their own starting points. The results page explains what each case shows and which parts carry over to a multi-branch company.
Across Canada, one province at a time
We work with heating companies in all 10 provinces and 3 territories, and many of our clients cross a provincial border when they grow. That matters, because each province has its own technical safety regulator, workers' compensation board, business registry and energy programs. A branch in Quebec also brings French-language advertising rules. The areas page links to a page for each region, with the regulators to know and the programs that affect demand, as of October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
What is HeatingConsultants.ca?
HeatingConsultants.ca is a Canadian marketing and business consulting service for heating companies that operate more than one location. It belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of Canadian companies; Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it from our Vancouver, BC headquarters.
Do you install or service heating equipment?
No. We are not a heating contractor and never install, repair or service furnaces, boilers or heat pumps. We advise and market the companies that do. Everything we offer is advice and marketing for the business side of a branch network, never engineering, mechanical design, inspection or code-compliance services.
How many branches do we need before this makes sense?
Two is enough. Most of the problems we fix, such as calls going to the wrong office, one branch carrying another's ad spend, or duplicate Google profiles, start the day a second location opens.
Can you work with our existing agency or in-house marketer?
Yes. Many owners want a branch standard and a reporting model that their current people then run. We can set the rules and the measurement, and hand day-to-day work to whoever does it now.
What does it cost?
HVAC.Agency plans start at $2,998 per month and websites from $3,500, plus GST/HST by province. Multi-location work that falls outside those plans is quoted in writing before anything starts.
Will you promise more leads per branch?
No. Nobody honest can. We show you the maths, the method, published results from our HVAC work, and exactly how each branch will be measured every month.
